The first visit will be the longest as I've got to get some very
important information that will help me put together a complete
clinical picture. This process will enable you to get the best care
and evaluate your options.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out the paperwork, unless
you've already done so. See downloadable forms.
Then we will discuss what is going on with you and what your
health goals are. I will ask you questions about your history to get
a better idea of what your body has been through throughout your
life.
Then an examination will be performed, including orthopedic and
neurological tests. In the majority of cases, the exam can be
performed while the patient is fully clothed. In some rare cases
where an area needs to be exposed, a gown and additional cover
will be provided to maintain patient privacy and comfort.
If it is determined that you will need xrays before we proceed, then
I will refer you to Radnet in Emeryville, Oakland, Walnut Creek, etc
or you may choose a facility that best suits your needs. Radnet is
local, has state-of-the-art equipment, accepts most insurance,
has very reasonable cash prices and has walk-in/same day
appointments. The turn-around time is usually one day, so you
can start your care within a day or two.
